Our favorite culinary event of the year, Taste of College Area, will be held on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 11AM to 3PM. Join us to sample some of the best bites and sips from College Area's diverse eateries. The afternoon will showcase a world of different restaurants, each just as delicious as the last.
Experience all that the College Area has to offer from this self-guided tour! You can traverse the span of restaurants by riding complementary Old Town Trolleys, riding your bike, walking or any combination. Upon arrival, check-in at the Ticket Will-Call located at 6010 El Cajon Boulevard, San Diego CA 92115 to receive your Taste of College Area ticket and other helpful information. From there you can make your way to each restaurant stop by hopping on one of the available the Old Town Trolleys! The trolleys will take you to a destination stop where you can walk to a variety of participating restaurants.

Where: Throughout the College Area & Rolando Neighborhood Commercial Corridor (El Cajon Boulevard between 54th Street & 73rd Street AND on SDSU Campus).
This self-guided tour of the College Area eateries features 20+ restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, and unique eateries in one of San Diego’s most diverse culinary neighborhoods. Enjoy savoring samples while touring the College Area Business District!
