Board of director Meetings
The College Area Business District is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors made up of the businesses and commercial property owners in the College Area Business District. The Board oversees all aspects of the organization by guiding/ advising staff and the various committees.
Our Board of Directors Meetings are:
DATE: 3rd Wednesday of every month
TIME: 9am
LOCATION: In our office (4740 College Avenue, San Diego CA 92115).
Our BOARD MEMBERS are required to attend in-person.
All College Area Business District's Committee and Board Meetings are open to the public and all College Area Businesses are encouraged to serve on this or any other Committee.

The Marketing Committee
plans the FUN events, mixers, and ribbon cuttings that attracts people to the College Area businesses. Their goal is to attract more visitors and customers to the amazing businesses in the College Area.

The Business Development Committee works to strengthen the College Area commercial corridors by attracting new businesses while retaining existing businesses, and also encouraging new commercial development.

The MAD Committee
is responsible for enhancing the curb appeal and overall aesthetics of the El Cajon Boulevard Commercial Corridor from 54th Street to 73rd Street, as directed by our contract with the City of San Diego.

The Executive Committee consists of the officers of the Board of Directors, including the President, Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer.
This committee provides strategic oversight and guidance to the staff and Board of Directors.
