This self-guided tour of the College Area eateries features 20+ restaurants, coffee houses, pubs, wine bars, and unique eateries in one of San Diego’s most diverse culinary neighborhoods.

Throughout the College Area & Rolando Neighborhood Commercial Corridor (El Cajon Boulevard between 54th Street & 73rd Street AND on SDSU Campus)
Enjoy savoring samples at all 20+ participating restaurants while touring the College Area on the complementary Old Town Trolleys.
Experience all that the College Area has to offer from this self-guided tour! You can traverse the span of restaurants by riding the complementary Trolleys, riding your bike, walking or any combination.
Enjoy the diversity of cuisines and the various shops & boutiques along the El Cajon Boulevard commercial corridor and those near the San Diego State University campus.

TICKET INFO

Regular Tickets – $40 per person (Saturday, August 24 – September 28) $45 Day-Of Event

VIP Tickets $50 per person (21+ Includes Discounted Drinks at select “oasis” bars & pubs AND an Exclusive Event shot glass while supplies last) $55 Day of Event.

Group Tickets – $35 per person (Minimum 10 tickets) Save $5 per ticket when you buy in a group! Perfect for friends, family, coworkers & more to enjoy the Taste of College Area together.
Keep your ReceiptAfter purchasing tickets online, print out the receipt, or save it on your phone. Your ticket will not be emailed to you. You can pick up your physical ticket at the will-call booth on the day of the event, located at 6010 El Cajon Boulevard, parking is available on site.

VIP TICKET HOLDERS – ENHANCED EXPERIENCE!
Get ready to indulge in the ultimate Taste of College Area experience! As a VIP, you’ll explore 5 special oasis locations, each offering something unique. Start your tasting adventure at Corbin’s Q, Dirty Birds, and Eureka! – all ready to serve you at the start of the event. Then, keep the excitement going as Majorette and The Luau open at 2 PM!
AFTER PARTY – OPEN TO ALL!
At 2 PM, the fun continues for everyone! Majorette and The Luau will host the official after party. Stop by with your ticket and enjoy a special drink, unwind after the tour, and soak in the lively atmosphere as we celebrate a fantastic day of food and fun!

Event Transportation by Old Town Trolleys

Experience new or existing neighborhood favorites by our complimentary trolley service provided by Old Town Trolley Tours, or if you choose, by foot, bike or car. In addition to this adventurous tasting tour, guests can experience the neighborhood’s many distinctive boutiques shops that make the College Area a great shopping and dining destination. Come see all that the College Area has to offer!

The Taste of College Area is hosted by the College Area Business District with proceeds supporting the other projects & programs carried out throughout the year. The College Area Business District is a 501(c)3 Nonprofit organization.
